Do you love bread as much as we do? Ever wanted to make your own sourdough at home? Not sure where to start? This is the perfect class for you! Joe Cowan, member of Mountain People’s Co-op’s Board of Directors, will guide you through everything you need to know about maintaining your starter, mixing your dough, baking methods and more! Since there is so much to learn and go over this class will be broken up into three lessons, please see schedule below–

WEEK 2-SEPTEMBER 2nd-FERMENTATION/SHAPING
premix, wheat primer, autolyse, technique variations
WEEK 3-SEPTEMBER 9TH-BAKING
scoring technique & purpose, baking methods, how to eat imperfect loaves
This class costs $30 per person and covers all three lessons. All participants will receive something to take home every lesson (such as a starter).
